Overnight and Day Shift Veterinary Technician and Assistants (Gig Harbor)

Incredible opportunity to spread your wings and fly! In search of enthusiastic qualified candidates to join our amazing team of doctors and veterinary nurses in our new Uptown Animal Hospital w/ overnight and weekend urgent care coming to Gig Harbor. Our new facility will offer 24-hour emergency services (veterinarian and technician on site at all time) surgery, intensive care, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, complete dental suite including digital dental x-ray, day practice preventative and ill care.

Qualified candidates will be compassionate, patient centered and highly motivated to put their skills and training to the test. All candidates must have excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills. Must be honest, reliable, flexible, independent and have the proven ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.

Shifts available include weekends, holidays, and overnights. One to two year related experience is required; surgery and critical care experiences is a plus!

Veterinary ER Technicians and Assistants: The emergency nurse is to be responsible for treatments of hospitalized patients and outpatient diagnostic s and treatments and assisting emergency DVM's. Essential technician duties will include: managing case flow of patients presenting to the ER and assisting doctors in creating a priority of the patients, drug dosage calculation and administration, laboratory diagnostics, and management of critically ill patients. Essential assistant duties will include: technician and doctor assistance, managing patient care and treatments, laboratory specimen collection, restraint, computer data entry, hospital cleanliness. AVImark software experience a plus.

Part-Time Licensed Vet Tech: Busy 5-doctor small animal practice located in Walla Walla, WA is seeking an energetic part-time Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT/RVT/CVT).

We have a loyal clientele and a friendly team of employees dedicated to a high standard of care and compassion. Candidates must be detail-oriented, thorough, work well with others, and have the ability to maintain professionalism in high-stress situations. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): standard LVT tasks such as: dental cleanings, sedation and anesthesia, intubation/extubation, catheter placement, blood draws, fecals/urinalysis, administering vaccines and medications, radiology, handling controlled drugs along with appropriate logs, TPRs, and a knowledge of commonly used medications. Our techs work closely with doctors and clients to discharge patients and discuss medications and treatment plans.
