Our Purposes:

• To promote the profession of veterinary technology.
• To foster continuing education programs with the objective of disseminating the importance of proper and current practices for veterinary technicians.
• To maintain and improve the social and economic standard of veterinary technicians.
• To promote positive legislation and to speak for veterinary technicians in regard to legislative actions.
• To establish and facilitate efficient cooperation between WSAVT and other veterinary medical organizations.
• To establish and maintain a ventral bureau for reference and assistance in matters pertaining to veterinary technicians and the veterinary profession.
